My 96 ES is getting some interior upgrades for Christmas.

Coach Edition seats from a salvage yard. For those who haven't been following the other thread "How do I remove seats?", the rear bench is in, the fronts turned out not to be heated, so I want to put the 'new' upholstery on my factory heated seats.

Gentex Auto-Dimming mirror with compass and Homelink Transmitter, from the Nissan dealer (it's a dealer installed option on the lower-end trim of the 350Z) Should be in early next week. Trying to decide whether to heat the old mirror mount off myself, or try to get a glass shop to do it, even though most of them won't touch it.

Well I'm still pressing to get the car first....up here, most of the good Es's (in pearl white or beige exterior 94-96) are sold already....kinda sux to call deal after dealer and get the same responses. Nevertheless, right after purchase (any day now), my baby girl will have some new contacts (i.e Audi A6 HID transplant!!) Happy Holidays guys.

I'll keep you guys posted. A sales woman from Currie Motors Called me. They've got a 97 with 84K on the dash for 11,000. We'll see... HID setup would be difficult to do on my own...if I get this car...I'll get in touch with See_fu.

yep i got the es some new valve cover gaskets and new axle boots.....it really needed them...so it was kinda a required type of thing...but it still came out of my christmas seeing as how the parents paid for it

thinking about some rims for a late christmas gift (birthday is in april)

I wasn't expecting it.... But my sister got me one of those plug in the cigarette lighter pulsing neon things. It's pretty cool at night, lights up my whole interior blue.
