Default Brake Problems

Hello,

Okay so just when I thought iIfixed the brake light, the check engine light comes on. I do not have a odb scanner to find out what it is, but I suspect that it is coming from the brake. It seems like the brake pedal will not brake the same anymore, I would have to put extra force in stopping the car and when I do this, there is sometype of grinding noise coming between somewhere outside of the floor between the brake pedal. What do you guys think this problem might be?

Your brake pad indicator is rubbing against the brake rotor. Time to replace the brake pads (and maybe rotors).

The CEL has nothing to do with the brakes. That is a separate issue.

Yeah it has been riding the same rotor/pads since I got the car, but I will go ahead and get new sets of them, and see if that solves the problems, thanks dude.
