Mine is between those two. The unfinished areas on the camshafts and head are a very dark brown, the rest is darker than yours still. There are a couple of very small pockets of sludge in the rear head, none in the front head. Runs better now then it ever has so we'll see.

Had the same issue, I just knew I wasn't firing on all 6, replaced the coil $85 and I "feel" bullet proof again in my ES300.

Must be a nice feeling. Contrary to most mechanics' beliefs, it's very rare that changing spark plugs improves anything, So I'm glad it actually worked for you.
