Hi everyone,

I'm a little confused with the codes I got from a scanner due to a check engine light.
I've done multiple searches before I decided to make a thread, but the more I read about it the more I was confused I got.... the codes that I got are the following....

DTC 04: P0125, P1130, P1135 & P1135P

Based on my readings I have read that it's the O2 sensor for the car but what is with the fourth code that I got? How come it has a P behind the number as well? Which o2 sensors do I need to replace? Is the P1130 the air fuel sensor?

P refers to Powertrain. The P1xxx codes are all Powertrain Toyota Specific. All P0xxx are Powertrain generic.
I've never seen an OBD2 code PxxxxP before. Check your temp sensor first, but most likely replacing the A/F sensor located near the firewall will fix all the codes.

I can tell you P0125 is low coolant temp preventing closed loop operation, P1130 is bank 1 sensor 1 malfunction, and P1135 sensor heater inop. Sounds like you might need to replace the sensor in-between the firewall and engine. How is it running?

Yeah, I was a little confused when I read the code with the p in the end... the a/f sensor near the firewall is the o2 sensor by the exhaust correct?

I'm a little confused with bank 1 sensor 1. But the reason was.. I looked up the o2 sensor from parts.com and it has 4 different o2 sensors I can purchase. Front right, front left, rear right, and rear left. The car is running fine... it's feels as if nothing is wrong with the car. But at the same time I haven't really notice much different about the car. I recently replaced the canister as well as rewire the wires that dealt with the temperature indicator in the cluster because some rats/mice chewed up the wires. But everything was fine for a couple of months until recently when the check engine light came on again...

There are two pre-cat A/F sensors (B1S1 and B2S1) and one O2 post-cat sensor (B1S2). B1S1 is located in-between the engine and firewal. B2S1 is located in-between the engine and radiator. It sounds like you have a bad B1S1 (Federal spec OEM part # 89465-33120 was superceded by 89465-06020).

The only other thing you need to know is if your car has CA emissions or not. I'm guessing yes, due to your location.
