Well, I've checked the valve cover gaskets of the first 3 cylinders, nothing to note except for the round cap to the right of the intake cam. That cap seems to be dripping a little oil from the sides, but I cleaned it off and it seems fine for now.
It seems I now must check the valve covers under the intake manifold, how difficult do you guys think it will be? Hopefully I can find the oil leak from there (I did a visual inspection from the sides and under the car and didn't really see any leaks around the valve covers though).
Just curious, how many places do these engines usually leak oil from? From the bottom of the car, the oil pan, the transmission, and most of the block seem to have traces of fresh oil, so it's kind of hard for me to pinpoint where it's coming from.
Now this wouldn't be such a problem but I need to use the vent/heater and that annoying oil burning smell is getting inside the cabin.
Are there any other gaskets that need changing @ 112k miles? BTW, it seems the valve cover gaskets I checked were recently changed (probably by the previous owner) so the other ones under the intake manifold are probably new too.
Thanks!

check the cam seals, the oil pan gasket, and then look around the rear of the engine for the reaer main seal which is what it sounds like from where you say all those parts were covered with fresh oil.

Well I was getting ready to check the rear seals when I found that I couldn't remove the intake manifold bolts. I didn't want to force it out as I might end up breaking something, so I just sucked it up and will take it to my neighbors friend. I'm no mechanic so I really don't want to get into something I can't get myself out of...
When I talked to my neighbors friend (Lexus mechanic), he said that my seals around the rotor housing was probably leaking. He also said the my clutch is probably shot too, because I'm having a hard time getting back into first anytime the car is on a roll (must come to a COMPLETE stop before it would go into 1st!). It also grinds going into reverse. Something about the clutch not disengaging all the way.
So it looks like a whole lotta green to get this car fixed

MarkE that sux. Well since i am only 16, I had the es for like 2 months and then the engine problems started up. So my mom said that this car has given us enough problems and sold it. She bought a new accord. Hopefully you get it fixed. Also, if you want to spend less money but still want some good work done on the car, take it to a toyota dealership. CHeaper than Lexus and the service is good.
Your leaks sound like they leak a good deal of oil, so I would have them replaced. My leaks were not that bad but had them replaced and just caused more problems because we had crappy service done on it. The place i took it too has a good reputation and a ton of business but they did a horrible job. Lesson learned take it to toyota or lexus.
