caliper bracket pins bushing
well since my mom's car's caliper pin seals were all jacked up, i took the caliper bracket off today and rebooted them.. i believe i did it wrong (i stuck the boots in without grease) but i greased em up again and the brakes work good now..
problem is i bought a seal kit from pepboys ($20) i know... i could have bought it online for 5 bucks, but my mom needed the car today..
the rubber bushing that goes in the grooves from pep boys blew up as soon as i stuck em into the seal, i guess it was too big for it?
but i just put the pins back without the bushings, and i did lube em.. am i okay or should i replace asap?

That's a seal to keep stuff from getting in the lubed area. She can drive it until you buy some more. I wouldn't let it go a long period like that. BTW I know some cars that never had them the boot will keep anything and everything out most of the time but an engineer somewhere says it should have it.
