Yes the engine rotates. I will say that the inside of the distributor was not in very good shape. the module, or whatever that is inside, is cracked so, I am hoping that might be the problem. If I replace it, the whole distributor (cheap at the local pull a part), I hope it fixes the problem because if not I am liable to put a ball bat through the windows . . lol . . .not really . . but you understand my frustration . .
