Default issue with heat after change coolant

this weekend, I changed coolant, on #3 Drain plug(back engine), the bolt should have another small little bolt, but it doesn't have it, so I try to counter clock turn the bolt, but it only moved few inches, I am afraid break the bolt, so it didn't drain any old coolant, even I flush with Distilled water, still nothing comes out of it, but since the #1 and #2 drain plug drain a lot of coolant, I decide that is ok to finish the rest of project. But bothers me why?

and when I do the test drive and this morning to work, about 35 mile on the highway, even in local, I Noticed the when no heat or air condition turned on, when I switched to air from outside to inside button, I felt a lot of heat come out of it, when I switch to air circulation within, the heat is gone. Why?

I guess I have never noticed. may be it is always like this.

any idea?

Thanks

Did you bleed the system? You may have an air pocket in the heater core which is preventing the coolant from travelling to the cabin.

Hi MrBooby,

How are you? I drain the radiator plug and the plug near the oil filter, but not the one in the back because I cant get the coolant out of the plug, try turned the bolt counter clock, but it only moved 2 inches. But if u turned the heat and air condition on, it worked, is just when u have nothing turn on, the on the outside to inside **** on the dashboard, then I can feel the heat, if you turned the inside to inside ****, act normal, no heat coming out.

Thanks
