So today I was replacing the hood struts on my 2000 ES300 and I was wondering if anyone knows if it is hard or easy to bend the hood on an ES. After I was finished I was wondering if it was possible to bend the hood just from pushing up on it as I was pushing fairly hard to make sure the struts were fully extended.

You'd have to push pretty hard to do that. It's made of steel.

MrBooby is right need to put a lot of force to bend it unless its a aftermarket hood which will bend with little effort.

yup its strongg..i accidentally dropped wrench tool (heavy) from like 10 ft height and it only made a miniscule dent.
On a side note my Volvo S80 is vice versa..the hood is plastic ( i guess to absorb the impact force) and the side fenders are steel or solid.
