Found out a few things while ripping my car apart...
The stock amp is located behind the glove box on the right side.
To remove the door panels simply pry up the window switches and remove the screw behind it. After that you have to yank and pull like hell and be careful not to rip out any wires and cables.
The rear seat looks like it comes out the same way the GS rear seat comes out
You need to remove the front bumper to remove the headlight fixture. I found out this the hard way. Long story short i had to make a few "cuts" to avoid taking the bumper off. After all that it took me an hour to get it back in due to my modification so I do not recomend screwing with the headlights.
Never replace the turn signal bulbs...mine fell in the headlight fixture. That was the main reason i had to take it out. Once i got the bulb out I attempted to plug it back in and screw the headlight back in. After all that work guess what happens!!! It falls back in!! So I just say F-it and put my orange ones back in, and yes the blue bulbs are still floating around the fixture.

wow, what, did Lexus not like us driver-owners toying with our cars or something? whats up w/ the user unfriendliness design of the 02+ ES? I realized a few nights ago how EASY it is to do little stuff on the first gen. ES...took it for granted all this time, how you could just open the hood and reach your hand to replace bulbs, didnt notice til i found out how hard it is to replace one darn bulb on another model Lexus.
