Default IS 300 Wheels on the ES

IS300 Wheels 01-04 are 5 spoke 17x7 50 mm offset. They fit without any issues however tire sizes must be 225/45 or 215/50 and smaller or you'll see rubbing issues needing spacers and or fender work or both. If you get spacers get hub centric or bolt on spacers the cheap ones will screw you in the end. Most 235/45's will fit in the back without rubbing the strut towers some 225/50's won't fit out back due to the bulge causing strut rub but will fit up front. However they will hit the plastic fenders on HARD turns or bumps 225/50's will rub out back even with rolled/pulled(in my case hammered fenders). 235/45's may fit all the way around with no rubbing period. By the way if you want a funky look keep your stock lugs, I'm sure the IS300 or aftermarket lugs will suffice just replace with similar design if going aftermarket. None of the sizes listed have put my speedo off by more than 1.5 or so at 60. There's a pic of them on my car 225/50's up front/ 235/45's out back with no spacers.

That's is my experience with a 2es with proper alignment and decent struts. The same should likely apply to the 3es for the most part.

I know it's been over but I pretty much cleared almost any question up for them along with tires sizing cause I've run each tire size I talked about.

With a 3rd gen es, you need at least 5mm spacer on the rear. I had 245/40/18 on the front at one point and there were no issues at all, its the rear struts that are so restricting

What size tires did you have that needed 5mm spacers? Or was the wheel it self gonna hit the 3es strut?

The 3es is the only restricting one, the 2es fits whatever you throw on dude. Anyone could've told you that. People run the GS wheel which is 17x8
