Default I got a 2002 Es300 loaner

Hey everyone!!

I just got a 2002 Lexus Es300 loaner from the dealership. I really like the way it drives, and handles. the only thing is it has a big a$$ dent in the rear bumper from something?? the car has 19,000 miles on it though which is I guess kindof alot for a dealership loaner to have. the car is biege with a beige interior. this was last thursday that I got the car and my 90 Ls400 still isn't done yet as of today. I might trade in my car for a new ES someday, would it be a step down or up from a 1990 LS to a 2002 ES? lol

I totally love my 2002 ES300. However, I have never driven an LS so I am not a source for comparison for this. But a 1990 for a 2002 has to be a step up.

If you do go for the ES, make sure the dealer fixes the bumper.

I imagine he would get an ES that's different than the loaner...

The only advantages I can think of that an '00 LS would have over an '02 ES is larger engine and power telescoping steering wheel. Getting into little details, the trip meter buttons are better in the '00 LS.

This shouldn't be surprising, considering there's a 12 year gap and the LS was considerably cheaper back then than now.

The ES has grown to be almost as large as the first-gen LS.
