You can run a long time with those codes. But I don't recommend it. You could eventually cause damage to your engine. I had intermittent codes from the day I purchased my ES used. When I was ignorant of these things, I ran it about 10 months before I replaced it. If you can replace it yourself the cost is about $100 or so for the sensor. P0174 relates to the Bank 2 sensor. It's right up in the front of the engine bay and easy to replace. If I were you I'd replace it.
For me, the initial symptoms were bucking at cruise speed. Eventually the bucking got so bad at all speeds I stopped driving it until I replaced the sensor.
