Default Quick-strut assembly for 1995 ES300

My shop quoted $900 for parts/labor to install a set of quick-strut assemblies in the rear.

Too much?

Seems a little pricey to me for just the rears. Who is 'your' shop? Indy, Lexus, Toyota?

Way too much, especially for quick struts. The trickiest part is removing the back seat, everything else is a piece of cake. The rear quick struts can be had for about $300, I suppose. A professional should be able to replace them in under two hours.

Thanks for the tip.

I went to Dunn Tire to get another quote, and they could not even find the quick struts. They told me that nobody makes them. So, they quoted $1000.

Can you recommend the best way to locate the quick struts?

I do not know locally but if you look closely enough, you can find some decent quality ones on ebay.
