Default Shock assembly

I put in the monroe shock assembly on the front in my 98 es300. All kinds of squeaks. Has anybody tried the Moog shock assembly? The Monroe shocks work okay but the constant noise is unacceptable. Thanks for your help.

I doubt that your new Monroe shock assemblies are the cause of your squeak.

I suppose It's always possible that one of them is defective, but otherwise they should not be squeaking.

Something else may be causing that noise.

I just put KYB's and at a stop when I turn the wheel, it makes a metal to metal rubbing sound, I think I may need to replace the pivot bearings up top or add something to clear the new mounts to the old springs.

Has anyone else come across this issue?

Jim

Sorry for the hi-jack
