Default I got it finally...

LOL its here.

95...ES300
76K miles
one owner before me...got the Carfax and reports
pearl white
mint condition
like 8 keys from the dealer
pics as soon as I find my digital camera somewhere in this house.....
Audi A6 projectors (for transplatation purposes)
UP next....BMW/Audi HID equipment.
(i.e. ballasts, 4100K bulbs, relays and a solid weekend to get it all together)
All in all, $9781.00 out the gate taxes, fees ect all included. The only thing was it didn't have the CD changer a small situation Ebay can fix I picked up the car today from Woodfield Lexus. The buying experience all in all was pleasant and swift. I would recommend folks to go over and see Jacques Foucre...he was cool.

More to come soon! Gotta get out to enjoy this car. The previous owner really took care of this car soo well, I'm going to have to step up my care skills to manage! Not too bad though

Yeah....this was car number three in the almost never ending search for the perfect match. All in all, the car buying experience was pleasant. When I got there, the car salesmen were all over me and my friend offering us coffee and such. The only thing that bothers me today is how dealers get over soo much on interest. Look at it like this, they offered me this deal on saturday. After allowing them to run my credit (which I feel I shouldn't have let them done), they tell me the best they can give me is 14.5%. Who the %$^ buys a car at 14.5%? My credit is great. What the heck? Anyway, I got the deal through my credit union for a little under 8% but with an option to refinance for the current low rate on a used car of 6.5%. (Don't ask me...that's just how it is) Which do you think is better? I feel great, I'm 21 and about to be the only 1st model ES with true HID in the city of Chicago let alone Illinois. I don't mind not being the only one provided others decide to do the same thing as well. The car kicks major butt, rides nice and would look great with the violet/blue cutoff flicker effect of HID projectors. I commend Amrit and themasta3 for their projects and prepare to do the same! I feel kinda weary about oven baking my baby's eyes right now but I'll get over it real quick. Gotta go...l8tr
BTW...somebody PM me instructions please...well about getting the headlamps out...I know we don't have to remove the bumper to get them out.

Congratulations on your car!!!!!

Sorry dude, I know of 3 first gen ES's that have HID in Chicago.

One is my cousin's, he has a true retrofit (he's big on HID, his other cars are an 03 350Z and 02 Escalade both with HID)....but I don't know if he still has his ES, gotta talk to him

A kid at my school has the autolamps kit on a 96, along with yellow fogs....looks very nice. Unfortunately, the rest of his car is stock...even though he has the money to mod!!!!

I have an autolamps kit in my garage, just need to find time to install it.

are you gonna swap projectors or are you gonna keep the ones you've got now??? I wish we had the flicker type already in there but since we don't, an "eye" transplant is in need. Yeah..it looks like I may need to come on out to a meet. Umm...when the next? I had would have to make time for an allowance (i.e business and school ect...). Keep me posted and I'll do the same for you. I just took her out to a meeting like 4 blocks down the street! I know I know...before you guys start flaming me...I just wanted an excuse to drive it
