what's wrong with my car?
Es300, I was driving it, and it stopped on me.
The battery has power but no ignition. It does not cranck the engine.
Anyone has an idea of what happened?

you know the battery has power because...?
even if some of your lights work the battery might still be out.
otherwise you have a bigger and more expensive problem, so lets hope its "just" the battery.
oh wait, i just re-read you WERE DRIVING and it stopped on you so its probably not the battery... if it were your timing belt, your car should still crank but not turn fully. so that leaves us w/ electrical stuff.
even if some of your lights work the battery might still be out.

wow... you're right.
The battery has very good lights (headlights).
I remember that when the car stopped, I open the hood and with my hands tried to tight up the terminals (thinking they were loose) and it burned my fingers .. :eek:
I checked all fuses and they're fine.

I was driving (crazy, I admit). It stopped on me. The battery was BURNING !... I left the car there.
There is NO CRANK when switching the ignition.
The next day a tow truck took the car to the house. 3 days later, my dad changed the starter. (a mechanic said it was this what was damaged)....... and....
NOTHING !!!
a few days later, I decided to call the tow truck so it could took the car to a shop. The mechanic told me that the engine was no good anymore. That is was lacked.
The tow truck took my car back to the house and now is seating in the back !!
That's my sad story guys

that doesn't sound too bad, but depending on the year of your ES at this moment, it may even amount to at most maybe 3/10 of what your entire car is worth. guessing the ES might be worth around $10k. so you're paying 3/10 of what the car is worth, to get somethin used put into it. (minus labor, which'll be a pain in the ****)
