Beautiful 03 ES
I recently purchased a 2003 ES300 at a local Mercedes dealership of all places. I was looking for a much newer model. It was love at first sight. Every option except the variable struts. It is alabaster with the gray leather interior. An older couple traded it in for a new Benz. They wintered in Florida and the car stayed garaged up here. 69,000 miles have gone by in ten years and the car looks absolutely new. I have had 27 cars before this one and this is by far my favorite. It is also my first Lexus. I looked for 1 1/2 years to find one I couldn't resist. At $11,300.00 I feel like I am ahead of the game. Thanks for a great website.

Welcome! Nice find! I just joined as well recently grabbing an 02 with 48k miles for $10k flat. It was a steal! Check to see if timing belt and water pump replaced! Mine has a clean bill of health except 1 top broken motor mount, and a small power steering leak. I plan on doing the belt and pump due to the age of vehicle. Wonderful automobile!

Sounds like a great car. I Have 2 04 ES cars. One bought new the other bought at a Cadillac / Mercedes dealer this year, 35000 miles and like new. Get the timing belt and water pump changed, these cars are great, my Blue one 106000 miles and drives great, the only problem was the alternator had to be replaced. Take care, this site is great for any help you need for our car.

Some previous cars were 69 Mach 1, 66 Nova SS, 70 GTO, 70 Z28, 70 Grand Prix, 70 Torino GT 429 convertible and the wierdest was a 1985 Camry Turbo Diesel. There were a lot of winter cars thrown in there
that upped the vehicle count. The fact that I'm 56 doesn't hurt either. I wanted to mention that I changed the
cabin filter in the ES and found things I couldn't believe got in there. I have promised myself that my next Lexus
will be a 2008 GS460. I have always loved high performance vehicles and this one I know will fit the bill for
this old man. Thanks for the input as not a lot of people appreciate these vehicles as the gems they are.

Those cars were back when I was a lot younger and they could be gotten for a song. Gas crunch days. I am
much happier with the Lexus. I still use premium just to keep the engine cleaner. The handling and ride are
light years ahead. Granted, it's not an LFA but it isn't a shopping cart either.

Lol, silly question but I have to ask the question because you owned a classic gto. I own a 04 GTO (Holden Monaro) what was your thought on the re-introduction on this iconic brand name...Sounds like you found yourself a winner Lexus too. Nice!

I like the new GTO but I wish they had used an American platform. My friend has one that he tweaked the hell out of and the performance is blistering. Intrinsic value is the name of the car game my friend. If you like it and
you are paying for it. to hell with what anyone else believes. Good luck with the Goat and don't forget to put a tiger tail on her.

I bet you have to explain the Tiger face to a few people. I gave mine to a young guy I work with who has a really nice '66 GTO convertible. Red with black top. GRRRRRRR!!!!!
