94K miles, should I look for a warranty?

Overheating has never been a problem on my car, so I can't really say much on proper maintenance for that particular issue. However, I've heard that the water pump is a rather expensive item to replace/change, and the thermostat can be easily replaced/changed by yourself. According to the "LEXUS MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE" (posted by a CL member), the water pump should be checked/changed every 90K miles. In the user's perspective, this schedule is a good guide, but if you have any suspicion to any part of your car resulting to an issue or problem, you should by all means consult with the dealership service, a local service shop, a mechanic friend, or one of us in CL . Use your instincts
Hope this helps.
