Spray some WD-40 on the rusted metal parts (Not on rubber) and use a toothbrush to rub it in, and to scrub the rust away. Most of that rust should come out.
Once clean, Canadian Tires sells several spray on products specifically designed that you can than use to spray those areas. This should prevent/delay the rust from coming back.
Alternatively, you can cover those areas with a LIGHT coating of engine oil, but the Canadian Tires spray is easier to use, and can reach into places that you can't.
You should also think about having your whole car rustproofed. Its never too late.
A car that is kept outside in the winter, will form much less rust than a car that's kept in a warm garage, so I don't know why your car has formed those rust areas.

all the zinc plating has been eaten off your parts
but yeah, do what PFB said
motor oil/similar can be used to pretty much put on any bare metal and prevent it from corroding.
some of those bare metal hot/rat rod guys use it on their vehicles, machinists use it after theyre done machining engines/parts, and you can apply a THIN coat to non chromed/finished tools as well
