Are the 97, 98, 99, & 01 ES parts interchangable?

Are the 97, 98, 99, & 01 ES parts interchangable?
Do the parts of a 97 ES fit an 01 ES....since they are the same shape, except for the bumper, grille, and taillights.
I want to upgrade my 1997 ES to look like a 2001 ES, and since the body is the same, I think the parts should be interchangable....just like you can put the 2003 GS430's new grille, taillights, even a lot of the interior changes into the 1998 GS400.
What do you guys think?

Think you do the headlight and grill, but the taillight on the 2000 or 01 ES is bit difference than the 97-98. I know for sure that you can change the rims from 15" to 16".
