Well, this morning I drove from Cincinnati to Dayton with the fuel light on, figuring that I had 3 or so gallons left. Turns out I overestimated that figure. When I arrived in Dayton the car stuttered a few times right before I entered a gas station. I ended up putting in 17.5 gallons of fuel! I just thought that was kind of crazy since i've run a lot with the fuel light on before and have only been able to put in 14 gallons. So, I guess our cars really do hold 18 gallons.

do they really? i always thought they were 16 gallon tanks.

Capacity is 18.5 gallons I believe. I don't think I ever put more than 14-15 in mine.
