Hello Club Lexus!
I have a 97 ES with 40K miles. This past week I noticed that my steering wheel is slightly shaking back and forth at speeds under 40. I had my tires balanced today thinking that it might help but I am experiencing the same thing. I also have noticed that the car needs an alignment. Might an alignment solve the problem or could it be something else?
Thanks!

I've noticed something similar to yours, except it was when i applyed the brakes. Mine is caused by a not secure rotor. Maybe one of your rims is bent a little, but what do I know...
