Default Burnt out cluster needles

I've got 2 flickering needles (2 outside needles) and 2 dead needles (speedo and tacho??).

There is 1 Windom being (1992) being wrecked in my city, it still has the entire speedo / instrument cluster in place needles and all.

I was thinking of getting the cluster (if I can remove it myself - will look that post up) in the hope at least the 2 needles I want are working, and if I'm lucky they might all work...

Is there any way to test the cluster out to see if the needles light up as they should? Can I hook it up to a power source of some sort to test? Or would I have to remove the needles and put them in my car to test them??

I'm assuming I can remove the needles from this other cars cluster and put them in mine.. again I'll read up on that.

I know there are threads on fixes for burnt out needles but I'm really not that confident on doing that, tho if I have to resort to that I will...

I spotted one of the outfits that replaces / fixes your cluster needles for lexus / windoms...

I asked them about sending the the cluster out of another car to fix they send it back and I'd install it in my car.... However they told me the mileage is stored in the cluster but said they could reprogram this for me...

How does one reprogram the mileage in the cluster? There is every chance I can find a wrecked Windom / ES300 somewhere in the country with the needles still working, so if I could reprogram the mileage on the cluster to match mine I'd be quite happy!

There is a seller on Ebay who sells a set of 4 replacement needles for about $70USD, can't vouch for him or his product.

Apparently instructions are included for removal of dead needles and installation of new ones...
