Well i'm not sure what's wrong... i live in Toronto and it's winter with very cold temps at night ...
A few times i park my car outside for the nights ... in the morning when i started to drive the car ... the steering is hard to turn ... for some strange reason it became hard to turn the steering wheel and it's stiff like a BMW ... but after a while of driving it gets soft and easy to turn again like it was back to normal ... WTF happen to it?
I only have 1 guess ... maybe the power steering liquid got frozen when i park my car outside ... therefore resulting in stiff steering ... could this happen? ... has it happen to anyone else?

 

every car I have driven here in MN thats been parked outside its happend 2. I think its normal.

one 10 below night I left my beater truck outside...and I had to use all my strength to turn the wheel....it sucked...

 

yeah that happened to me too, but it wasn't in the cold. check your power steering fluid. it's the tank behind the windshield washer fluid. if it's below the low mark, then that may be a part of it. i just added some power steering fluid, and it's back to it's original smoothness.
