Squeaky Steering Wheel 2000 ES300

So this isn't a huge issue or anything, it's just a rather minor annoyance that I'm curious about. So whenever i take a slow turn, or turn the wheel all the way in one direction it tends to squeak and sort of moan. It actually sounds like a dying cat. Lol, anyways, i was just curious to see what you guys know about it and how to fix it. I know it's a common problem in these cars (mine is a 2000 ES300) i just don't know what to do about it.

You don't remove anything, it's right on the floor next to the gas pedal.

Good advice, WD40 is not something you put on rubber. Plus it's a terrible lubricant anyway. Silicone paste has worked well for me, silicone spray works but the noise comes back. 303 Aerospace protectant should in theory work as it will bond to the rubber and make it slippery.
