Headers & Bolt-Ons
I currently have a 92 Lexus es300 that has been worked on in every way except performance. Now I just was looking at adding bolt-ons such as headers and short RAM intakes to increase my hp by 50 or so. I am having a hard time finding headers and was wondering about other bolt ons that you would recommend. appreciate any help given.

Hi Wahlnutz,
I'm afraid you wont find any off the shelf bolt on's for the gains you are looking for.
Unless of course you have a decent budget for custom made parts.
If you want to go that route heres an idea on what you are going to be looking at, give EEngineer's thread a look over.

At the end of the day, for the amount of money you will be spending to make an ES fast, you are better off getting another faster car....

You're not going to get 50hp out of headers and bolt ons. Not even close. My old car's LS2 6 liter engine didn't get 50hp out of headers and bolt ons, what do you think an engine with half the displacement and not designed for modification improvements is going to get? I'd say you'd be lucky to get 20.
This is not a good platform for performance modifications. You have to spend BIG money to get even respectable (not good, but maybe respectable) power out of these cars. IMHO the money is better spent elsewhere.
Of course it's your choice and your money, but if you're asking for opinions, trying to make this car faster is a waste of money for low results (unless you go forced induction, which is expensive, and still worse results than a car made for performance).
