Default Average cost to replace struts on an '00 ES?

I just purchased an '00 ES 300 that's in great cosmetic and mechanical condition, but the original struts with 164k feel pretty rough and are definitely going to need to be replaced at some point. Any ideas on what I should expect to pay for this job with parts and labor?

I spent about $700 with buying the strut assemblies online and having my mechanic install them on my 1998 Camry V6 XLE. Saved me a lot of money by buying them online (eBay) and saved me a lot of pain by having my mechanic install them, which cost me about $350 in labor. I purchased the struts from eBay user "completestruts" and after 10k miles, they are still great. The brand of struts were "Unity" struts.

Thanks clintbw, I was was expecting to spend around that… Hopefully the ES is similarly priced. Did you spend $700 total? Or is that 700 for parts PLUS $350 labor?

$700 total. The car needed it very badly. It was a 1998 and had 190k miles with original shocks, so you could imagine how bad the ride was.
