Default can a camry trd muffler bolt-on work on es?

i want to make some mods on my ride, nothing too serious. i dont want to ruin the warranty. i opted for the 5 year 100,000 mile warranty and it sure is worth the extra couple of bucks! just recently i had the front struts, springs, and engine mounts replaced by the lexus dealer under warranty free of charge! as for the trd muffler, id seriously consider buying it if it bolts on easily on my es. trd supercharger would be NICE, everyone talks about it, id be ego trippin if i was the first one to pull it off. not likely, maybe in 5 years id be rollin in a lexus is 500 6 speed or something...

the camry is pretty much a lexus. as long as it is in the same year it will fit ur ES. i got a 93 ES and i found 2 exhausts that would fit, but i only found them by lookin up a camry with the same year. my dad is a mechanic with lexus n says it works. his name on here is franksES.

Actually it's the other way around. Because in Japan, the ES300 is originally called the Toyota Windom . Lexus is a division of parent company Toyota Motor Corporation...it's not the other way around.

There is no specific exhaust system for the 92-93 3VZ-FE motor unless you go to the japanese catalogs and search for them. You would have to go with an aftermarket universal application unfortunately. The TRD muffler is designed for MCV20 97 and up 1MZ-FE applications. Same goes with the S/C. It's only for 97 and up 1MZ-FE non VVT-i models. The 3VZ-FE is a totally different engine from the 1MZ-FE.

http://bosalperformance.com/catalog/...aders_cat.html

there info is a typographical error. There are no headers for the 92-94 Camry V6. Bosal never made any except for the 5S-FE which were only limited production and of poor quality. The 92-93 Camry had the 3VZ-FE and the 94 and up had the 1MZ-FE V6. Goes to show you how accurate their info is.

well actually... i'm not sure how much the air intake area actaually changed. they basically just increased the hp a bit, and the 1MZFE was made of aluminum... that's all the difference i know of.

The 3VZ-FE uses a flapper style MAF sensor whereas the 1MZ-FE uses a different type of MAF (cone/probe) type sensor fitting. Two totally different engines other than being cast iron block for the 3VZ and aluminum for the 1MZ.
