Fender rolling?
Does fender rolling damage the car? From what I read, it gives more space for bigger wheels. I have a 1990 es250, if I put 17's on would I need fender rolling or just spacers?

I have a 95 ES300 with 18's and 235/40 wheels. I had to shave my fenders because of rubbing, rolling wasn't enough. After I was able to put 22mm wheel spacers to make wheels flush and I haven't had any issues with rubbing since.

Rolling the fenders won't damage the car if done correctly. If your doing it yourself, make sure you use a heat gun and warm the edges up first, so your paint won't chip later. I did my own and they came out looking good. You can't tell there was any work done, unless you get down there close.
