Default 2002 es300 cooling fan not working

I had a small fire around my radiator fans and had to replace the the fan
assembly and harness all for 200 dollars from the local parts yard. The dealer wanted 5,000 dollars for the fan assembly and a COMPLETE wire harness for the engine and assembly. That is the only way lexus sells it and of course at the time of the estimate they could not tell me if*the radiator was bad but I know it would have been bad once they tore it down. It has been 6 mos---- no leaks. Here is my problem: the driver side works and the passenger side does not. I am running The AC as I test, using one of the old motors to attach each connector to. The d side works and the p does not. I also ran the p side connector over to the d side fan in the car and it does not wok. I can not run the d side over because it is to short. I believe i do not have power on the pasenger side. Are the fans on separate circuits and there is a fuse I can't find or something else

Thanks

Have you confirmed that the passenger side fan works?

start working backwards in the harness closest to where the fire was, looking for broken wire

This doesn't answer your question, but is often an easier way to test the fan. Turn on the AC, if both fans don't come on, then it's the fan, power to it, or its relay. Since it is spinning backward, then you're right, you may have a short.
