Default Rear suspension suggestions

Hello all,
Ever since I got my car a year ago, I've had that dreaded clunking in the rear sound. (its more right rear biased) I recently replaced the sway bar endlinks and it didn't seem to help much at all. I am going to replace the bushings most likely next but I can't seem to get the bolts off that hold the bushings in, any suggestions for that?

My next thing to replace is both rear struts, which I am planning on doing if the bushings doesn't fix anything. I have been hearing mixed things about which struts to buy. I don't want to lose the Lexus feel that I have right now, but I could go for a slightly stiffer feel. Is it a good idea to get quick struts and buy Lexus OEM mounts and put those on? I am open to any suggestions and tips on which struts to get. Anyone with replacements currently I'd like to hear if you guys are satisfied with what you have.

Thanks in advance,
-Austin

Check your lateral links before you do the struts. They are the four bars that run diagonally to the gas tank from each wheel. Those have been known to cause strange rattles when the bushings wear out.

I just replaced the sway bar bushings and greased them to no avail. I took out the back seats and had a friend jump in the trunk and it seems to be the right rear strut mount making noise, the bolt wasn't loose so I'm definitely going to need new mounts with the new struts I'm going to get

Update: I replaced the rear struts with oem struts and moog strut mounts along with oem rubber boots, also needed new sway bar endlinks. I had all of this done last tuesday, hoping to cure the right rear clunk. I am in disbelief because today the same clunk noise came back, same exact sound as before. Could anyone shed some light into my situation? It is most definitely the right rear strut and to me it sounds like the mount, what could possibly be wrong with it now?

It seems as if I am conversing with myself as this point but I wanted to let you all know I finally solved the problem. I ditched the aftermarket bushings and found some oem ones and bam, 100% quiet. I am in heaven, my car sounds like dream and rides like one. So it seems that oem is the way to go, despite the price, it really does make a difference.
