Default front sway bar link

Is there a trick to replacing the front sway bar links i got the new one in but cant tighten the bottom bolt i feel as thought it is still loose and causing my clanking noise.
If anyone has something i should check i welcome it im thinking i may hate myself and replace the a arm if i cant figure it out
Thanks in advance

There should be a hole on the stud for an allen key.

If you're not already doing so, be sure you are replacing them on the ground or on ramps. The swaybar needs an even load so you can tighten both ends of the endlink flat against the arm and swaybar.

ya did that and it works if you jack the control arm up to level it out, turned out i over looked tightening the top nut because i was having a heck of a time getting a wrench in for the bottom one
