i have a 02 lexus es300, and I got a code that says p0325 and p0430. I changed the knock sensors, and the wires as well. the same codes came back. do the knock sensors need to be tightened with a torque wrench? how much torque is needed?

Honestly, as long as its not loose enough to vibrate around you're fine. But if you really wanna torque it then its 29 ftlbs. Do any testing to the previous sensor or just replacing it hoping that was it? No other codes except these two i assume?
What did you do to address the p0430? oxygen sensor or cat?

For your Knock sensor issue, If you installed an aftermarket knock sensor, this could be your problem. Aftermarket knock sensors are notorious to not be fully compatible with our cars. No matter what the specs claim.
For knock sensors its always advisable to use the original Lexus/Toyota part.
If on the other hand you did install an original knock sensor and wiring, than more troubleshooting is required.
