Chrome coach edition wheels
Does anyone here own or ride a set of Coach Edition wheels in its chromed form? My '96 ES is a Coach Edition with its own set of wheels, as shown in the picture:
I'm thinking of upgrading them to a set of chrome Coach Edition wheels from a '99 ES, like this one:
They're both the same size, 15", and the chromed ones should look sweet on my car. I called up lexus-parts.com, and they can sell me a set of them for $1200. The "chrome wheel exchange" sale that they posted on CL no longer applies. Does anyone know of any other websites or places to look for OEM chrome Coach Edition wheels? I'm probably asking too much here, but I want to retain the "Coach" aspect on my car that I've had since day one. No aftermarket or chrome replicas, please

i have your rims and they are chrome.
They were already on my ES when I bought it so I dont know if they were chrome plated by the previous owner or what the exact story is.
People have told me my ES is a special Anniversary edition ES made in 1994.

yeah, yours were aftermarket chrome plated. I think we figiured this out in an earlier post???
I have the same exact wheels except they arent as shiny, they are more of an "alloy silver" color. I WISH I was rockin the chromes tho... they look sweet!
