Lexus es300 2002 ticking noise
Hi everyone I'm new to lexus club I got quick question about my car. I own lexus es300 2002 I like this car alot car has only 50,000
Miles. Car is making little ticking noise but it wasn't before when I was in California I drove this car all the way to Indiana while I was driving I was frequently checking everything like engine oil,transmission oil and coolant
I'm not a professional mechanic but I'm sure it's coming from engine it's not too loud but I love this car and I like quite car so please help me! All replies are appreciated in advance thanks

Thanks everyone for getting back to me! When car is cold like when I start it early morning I couldn't hear that noise because of rpm was too high but after driving it for a bit I was able to hear that
And also it doesn't make that noise while driving makes only when parked and it goes away when I push gas pedal

Something else is going on. We don't have enough info. I'm not even sure it's valve lifter related.

Yes, and if you go on any Corvette forum, you will find reams of threads referring to just this complaint. Most have simply dumped the M1.
Factory fill means that the oil is supplied free of charge from Mobil to GM in return for free advertising.
That said, you can use M1 if you want. I stopped, as did the valve noise.
