Sound system upgrades - ES330 Nav Mark Levinson
Hi, all. 2005 ES300 Nav with ML sound system. 119K and still looking great and running strong.
Speakers are shot. Have looked all over for the specifics on OEM speaker specs and can't find them. Just went to Best Buy. Their 'techs' appear to be clueless. My local Lexus dealership hasn't come thru either.
1. Anyone know the specs on the OEM speakers?
2. Suggestions for replacement? I'm thinking the 4 door speakers to start. My front left door speaker has something blown in it.
3. I've heard the tweeters are of an irregular size. Keep or replace?
4. Replace woofer? I don't crank the bass up. Sounds fine now.
5. Want to add Vais Tech MML. The only thing missing in my car is Bluetooth. Thoughts/suggestions?
Thanks for you input!

your best bet is to take a weekend to rip apart the door panels [at least one side] and remove the speakers to reveal the specs...
The sub is 'easy' as it is exposed in the trunk and can be figured out simply reading the underside of the magnet.

Blown Speaker Repair Option
I had a similar issue and fixed them about 11 months ago. I used silicone in a tube and put a generous amount around the perimeter of the speaker where the tear happened. That was 11 months ago and they still work great. The repair took about an hour for 2 door speakers and a $5 tube of silicone. I got the tip from a YouTube video.
Good luck!
