hey there, Well i finally upgraded my audio system in my 2001 Lexus ES300 to a pioneer 3600bhs double din. I mean i love the unit but having issues with background white noise in my speakers?? I took it and had a professional shop install my unit as well. Was wondering if the 01 es300 is known to having the white noise/hmm in the background with aftermarket radios or should i go with a different brand radio?? Or is there a special wire or trick to eliminate this audio issue?? Someone i hope can help me out with this cause its driving me nuts!! Thanks,Jeff

This could be 1 of 2 issues. 1 it could be a bad ground somewhere in the setup. It is common for "professional" shops to not always chose the proper ground point for aftermarket installs. An example would be a self tapping screw into a metal piece as apposed to a bolt and nut. Look at the work they did and see if any of your ground wires are not secured correctly. That can cause that hiss you hear. 2 it is common for Pioneer H/U's to hiss without adequate grounding.
Also was this just a h/u install or were there speakers and amp?
