The transformation of my ES

Hows the handling with the 17" rims?
Do you find the ride any stiffer?
What about braking performance, I assume that suffered because the wheels are heavier?

Handing is perfect, I didn't think much would change at all but it definitely grips the road much better. I found the ride to be slightly stiffer, but not uncomfortable by any means, still has the Lexus glide. As far as braking I didn't seem to notice much of a difference. Maybe a slight reduction? But nothing to the point where I've had trouble stopping at all.

Everything you did was very tasteful. Very nicely done. I have a lot of appreciation for the use of stock rims of a bigger size and low pro tires instead of aftermarket rims. Again, very tasteful.
Fyi you could get the Orange piece out of the corner light if you wanted

Thank you I appreciate that. I wanted to keep the Lexus look and make it look different but not flashy. Yes I recently realized I can take out the orange piece in my side marker. That will be my next project

Looks awesome! I just picked up an'06 ES and am eager to embark upon some projects. My stock 17s are pretty beat up so I'm having a wheel guy come out to repair them. I, too, appreciate the "not too flashy" look of stock rims. I'll post some pictures of mine so I can get a community vote!
Yours looks great! I love that black grill. Mine is whitish so I'm not sure how it'd look with a black grill but it looks stellar on yours!

There was two versions, like on our USDM's. The "frosted" lenses from 97-99, and the cleaner fluted ones rom 00-01. Some pics
It was the best upgrade I've done, and set the car apart big time. Bought I bought a complete set with headlights, so if you want just corners maybe hit up Nigel-JDM parts as to where you can get just those.
No need to bake the stock corners and mess with the butyl afterwards.
Had I known someone with good taste was going to join CL just before the departure of my car, I'd have removed them just to give to you.......
