So i'm on the highway, cruising at about 70 as ususal when i notice lights blinking on my dash. The cruise control light, abs light and air bag light all started flashing at slightly different speeds. Next morning they all stopped flashing. Any clues as to what caused this?

Sounds like definately something electronic that was reset when the car was shut off and restarted.
Have you done any work lately that involved any electrical connections. I'm thinking like a ground wire somewhere is loose or not connected.

When the lights were flashing: was the cruise engaged, the ABS in use or a seat belt not fastened?
Where you just tooling along and then they started flashing with no apparent cause like a sudden stop, bump in the road, splash of a puddle or heavy rain?

Here's a thought, check your fuses. One fuse that handles multiple functions may be starting to go.
for example, fuse IG2 involves the SRS system and cruise control.

Cruise was not engaged, seatbelt was on so it was a very random occurance -- i'll check out the fuses tomorrow -- thanks for the assist guys!
