Default Front-End Rattle

I would like to know if any of you with front-end rattle on your ES 300's have solved the problem by replacing the struts or strut mounts. I have a '97 ES300 which has a front-end rattle at low speeds. This appears to be common problem with particular model. I do not want to proceed with this job if some of you have tried and were unsuccessful. Thanks for your help.

There was a TSB out on this problem for the Gen4 Camry (97-01). The problem was with the worn out strut mounts and would cause a rattle or squeak sound going over speed bumps and such.

That sound is also common when struts are going out. How many miles do you have on your ES? Good time to replace all your struts is around 60-80k miles.
