Drive from New York to Buenos Aires
I've always wanted to do this trek. After that there's not much left to drive. It's my understanding that the Range Rover is the first automobile back in the day to successfully complete this voyage. I figure any Lexus is a trustier companion.
My '98 ES300 (named Ladybird) has 250k miles under her belt(s). Don't worry, they're not original. Do you think she'd make it south of the southernmost border?
Yes? No? Maybe so? Damn that boy is crazy?

I mean you could, but why would you? Do you really have that much time to take off, or considered how expensive it would be? Not only that, reliability wouldn't concern me as much as capability, I'd assume there are a lot of roads that aren't paved and you'd face at least some off-road conditions that the ES just wouldn't be able to handle. On top of that, going alone, which it seems you would be, is irresponsible, especially if you're in parts of the world you aren't familiar with that aren't exactly the safest.
