Default help!!!

Hello All,

New here to the forum, this is my first post. Haven't even properly introduced myself yet as its too late to take pics while im writing this and post them but will most certainly get around to that soon. Just purchased a 2000 Lexus ES300 Platinum Edition (w/ factory HIDs ) and 157k on the clock after my old 2000 Lexus ES300 was totaled since i was t-boned drivers side about a month and a half ago but really glad to be back in a 3ES. The new one option-wise is better but my old one was so much cleaner. However, this new one hasn't gotten the love and attention these cars deserve and its apparent, but I do plan on restoring it to its full glory. Anyways down to business, after running a search i know this topic has been discussed numerous times but i have to ask anyways for the sake of gaining more insight into this issue of mine. As i purchased my car this past weekend, I was only given the gray transponder key and currently have no master key. Reached out to Lindsay Lexus of Alexandria and their parts dept quoted me $2388 (no thats not a typo lol) + tax for a new ECU, master key, and key programming since i do not currently have a master key. After reading up on the issue alot of the members on here have been saying that a workaround to this is to simply have your ECU reflashed and after doing so an uncut master key purchased off eBay or somewhere else should be able to be programmed to the car. Now my question is could any of the members here direct me to a reputable independent Lexus/Toyota or other repair shop and locksmith who could potentially reflash my ECU and program a new master key to my car in the DMV/Northern Virginia area? Shipping my ECU out isn't really an option at this point as this car is my daily and i need it regularly for school, work, etc. My apologies for the lengthy post, just trying to be as thorough as possible so i can hopefully get some help.

PS. if any of you can recommend an excellent/reasonably priced detailer local to the DMV/Northern Virginia area I'd really appreciate that too, the inside of my car is filthy and needs a thorough cleaning (and i need these gorgeous factory HIDs restored too)

any/all help is greatly appreciated. many thanks in advance.
