Own bs aftermarket pets price ?
Ok so I know the OEM parts are usually going to be more than aftermarket replacement parts but I can understand seeing a few hundred difference but what the hell so I when to the dealer for the driver side axl to be replaced they the OEM axle was like going to cost like 900 dollars of course my service contract company was not going to approve that part because an aftermarket one was jut under 100 so I could see if OEM was like 200 or 300 more just because it's OEM but what the hell how are they doing it at 800 more

In general, if changing a part is labor intensive, than it's always better to buy an original part from the dealer.
There are some parts that you should never buy after market, as those parts have been known to NOT be compatible with Lexus cars. Knock sensors are but one specific example that you should never buy after market.
Also as a general rule that I personally follow is that if the cost of labor is more than double the cost of an original part, I typically would buy an original part. This assuming of course that you have the job done by a mechanic. If its a DIY job, than that's a different story.
