Did a tranny rebuild P0775 now
Sorry code is P0755. NOT P0775
Hey everyone I just did a transmission rebuild on a 1999 lexus es 300 U140E.
Put everything back together and it's giving me the P0755 now. Trouble Code: P0755
http://engine-codes.com/p0755_lexus.html
The car is running and sounding fine though.
I'm going to go over some things in the morning but it would be nice to hear some opinions on this.
Let me just say that this was a huge job.

Possible causes of OBD code P0775
Causes
Possible causes of OBD code P0775
- Faulty line pressure solenoid B valve - Line pressure solenoid B valve harness or connectors - Line pressure solenoid B valve circuit is open or shorted - Low transmission fluid level - Dirty transmission fluid The Error code is generally activated on detection of the following conditions: The P0775 is detected when TCM detects an improper voltage drop when it tries to operate the solenoid valve.

Before the trans went back in did you flush the cooler lines first? That would save you from getting any codes by possible debris from when the transmission caused you trouble at first. Recommend getting it flushed hopefully it'll get it clean. I used couple cans of Kooler Kleen to flush any debris from cooler lines on the inlet amd outlet sides then used compressed air gently to dry the lines.

Sorry been forgetting to update this. I live 550 miles away from my parents where the rebuild was done. I am buying the tools tomorrow so I can drop the tranny pan and take a look. The torque converter was the only thing wrong with the transmission but the rebuild kit was already bought so we did it all anyways.
I did flush the cooling lines.
200$? Lol I wish.
200$ torque converter
450$ master rebuild kit
70$ 12 quarts of transmission fluid
100$ on a lot, a lot of parts cleaner
And a couple unexpected parts
200$ cv axels
70$ rear engine mount
And if I have to replace the solenoid
150$ shift solenoid B

Just a small update. I dropped the pan and it started raining (no garage here) so I decided to stop there. I'm going to try and clean the solenoid before ordering a new one. Will update in a couple days.
Solenoid tested fine at a shop.
So it's not the solenoid
Not dirty transmission fluid
Not low transmission fluid
- Shift solenoid 'B' valve harness is open or shorted
- Shift solenoid 'B' valve circuit poor electrical connection
I don't think it's these either.
What a headache
One last edit.
I bought a used valve body off ebay. Installed it and all is good now. Now I have a spare for each solenoid if/when one of them fails.
