What should i do first?
Ok i am planning on buying a 99 Lexus ES300 soon and i was just reading a post about "who has the fastest ES300" and most of the poeple in there seemed to be very negative toward any ES300 being all that fast or having hardly any mods available. I have done a little searching and found a cold air intake from Weapon-r.com but that is all i found. What are the best things to do to a ES300 to make it a bit quicker if there is anything? Any opinions or experience with the effectiveness of the cold air intake?

The ES300 was meant to be Lexus' entry level luxury car. Since it is not a sports car or no where near the status of a sport sedan, there is no real aftermarket support for it. If you're looking to make an ES300 fast, it's not the platform for you. Try the GS or SC line. There is really no way to make an ES300 fast considering it's a FWD car designed for comfort.

Weapon R's idea of a CAI is a regular short ram intake with dryer tubing for an extension. Something you can buy at home depot for less than $5.
