Error Code P0022
Hi, new to the forum. I replaced the timing belt on my friends 2004 Lexus ES330 after 230,000 miles. Everything seemed to go fine until she drove it away. I even test drove it and it seemed fine. While she was on the freeway, the car completely shut down. Now all of the engine lights are on including the oil light. I had the codes read and it came back with a p0022 error, which means that position A on Bank 1 and Bank 2 are over retarded. Logically one would assume the timing is off.
I have the car back and took it apart. I thought maybe I screwed up the timing belt, but after looking at it, it seems just fine. I took pictures of the timing marks. The car runs, but I am getting a knocking coming from the rear of the enigine. Has anyone had this issue??

I think I found the issue, but yes, I will be cleaning the VCT filter too.
