Default iPod + AUX Adapter for OEM Radio

Anyone with an 2004-2006 ES going to want a brand new ipod/aux cord adapter for the OEM stereo. I just purchased it to tinker around with, but the plug is not present on the 2002 radio for some reason, only on the 04+ and I am not going to go out and buy the 04 stereo, I'll just save up for a double din.

I only paid 25 for it, but they wanted 11 to return it, might post it for sale if someone on here may want it. For those wondering how they work, when you plug in your device, on the stereo you'd press the CD button to access it.

It is the 30pin. I haven't seen any quality ones out yet with the lightning plug. Would be better off anyway, I planned to just have a high gb ipod always hooked up and have it play through my playlists/shuffle.

I got the Grom unit. I have the 6 disc, so I had to unplug it and this is where the Grom went. I tried plugging in both the Grom cable to the radio and then the 6 disc to the Y cable on the Grom unit, and I could not get it to work.

My iTouch 5G (and kids iPad Air2 and iPhone5S) both connect up very nicely to Bluetooth connection and also charge and work from USB extension cable using your small or old school large Apple cable.

When I press disc on the stereo (this would be the Nav unit), I may have to press twice to go from Disc to Disc Changer which is the Grom unit.

I have it set up to use USB cable, regular old 3.5mm audio cable, and the unit has Bluetooth built in. For now this solves the problem of how to connect up the iPads, iPods, iTouchs, and Kindle Fire (to listen with audio books mainly).

Someday I may up grade stereo, but so far, does what I need. Yes Nav could be much better user interface, but I have not really spent much time playing with the Nav to really see if it is THAT much worse than say the portable Garmin units (that I mainly use if I need one).

In that case Speedkar9, I have you to thank as that was the video I used to install my Grom unit as I was new to my ES330 and had ZERO idea how Toyota built these cars. Honda I have down since 1984 models, Toyota.....nope.

I actuality, I was shocked how much easier it is to do this in a Lexus versus a Honda. The only thing I really want to do is replace the console box with the 6 disc in it I don't use with the standard sized box. Have you ever done that? I just hate not having any room for anything in that box area.
