My passenger side mirror got scuffed (can see the white of the base plastic) while I was at work one day, parked outside of my workplace's distribution center.
I noticed the scuff a couple of days later. I'm wondering if this is something that can be painted over, or, if there are any other alternatives. Way back in the day when I had a Ford F-150 I was going to get chrome mirror covers for that truck, and I thought about doing the same for my Lexus only to find no such option exists.
I checked eBay, and Amazon, and found either complete mirror assemblies, or something like that.

There aren't any chrome covers for the ES, but if you found the JDM turn signal markers they would probably cover your issue. Fortunately side mirrors aren't that expensive, the difficult part is finding your color normally. I recommend you get some touch up paint from Dr Color Chip and do your best to cover the scuff. If it is simply paint transfer, then get some Meguiars Ultimate Compound and it should buff out.
