Default 95 rear brakes

Hey everyone, new to this CL forum,I just purchased a 95 ES, the rear brakes are shot. gotta change the pads and rotors. can I do this myself or do I need a pro. I do some stuff myself, oil changes, spark plugs, etc., but nothin on this car yet (had it 2 days) plz help...

it's really hard for us to tell you whether you can do that yourself, because we don't know what you are capable of. Only you know that. Either you know how to do the job, or you don't.

It's not a difficult job, but brakes are something you shouldn't mess with if you're not 100% sure you know what you're doing. Safety first, mess up, you can kill yourself, or worst still others and have to live it.

I started working on brakes with someone looking over my shoulder, checking my work, making sure it was right and I wasn't making mistakes. (I did make some),

... is there someone that can do that for you ? if so, have a go, it's not difficult, it's just very important.
